Martin commenced flying in 1996 and two years later had started aerobatics.  In the year 2000, he became a Commercial Pilot with piston / turbine and multiengine IFR-Rating.  In 2001, he made history when he became the youngest test pilot in Germany.

His profession is a design engineer, commercial pilot and test pilot at MT Propeller.
He has experienced more than 60 different types of airplanes flown during certification test flights and commercial flying.  In aerobatics, he has flown the CAP, Pitts and Extra aircraft.

Martin is a member of the German Unlimited National Aerobatic Team and will be competing in the 2008 European Aerobatic Championship and 2009 World Aerobatic Championships.

In Germany he is currently ranked N° 3 in unlimited freestyle aerobatics.
